Zantuar was conceived as a sanctuary — a pause in life’s rhythm. Rooted in Oaxacan heritage, Mayan symbolism, and coastal stillness, the brand invites presence, warmth, and quiet reconnection.
The Zantuar logomark, derived from the Mayan sun glyph, symbolizes wholeness, warmth, and cyclical time. Its clean geometry is paired with a humanist typographic system — Quclewa and Mosvita — to balance ritual with ease.
The color palette is taken directly from the land: sun-washed yellow, deep earth brown, almond green, and the red of local clay. These tones evoke a grounded elegance and a sensory calm that echoes the physical experience of the space.
We developed a naming concept for each suite based on ancestral words and mythologies from Mesoamerican and global cultures. Each name (Pixán, Olin, Quié, Tonal…) serves as a quiet invitation for guests to connect with a deeper part of themselves.
The identity comes to life across signage, room keys, wayfinding, digital experiences, and printed collateral. Every application honors Zantuar’s promise: to offer calm, clarity, and connection.
